In the early 60's David bought his first horse, Jennyranda.
She is the grand dam of Crowntron. Crowntron was a
premier stallion in Europe before an untimely death.
He is the sire of Queen L, one of the greatest trotting
mares ever. In the early 70's David purchased a yearling for Courtney
Foos. Starlark Hanover was a multiple world champion and won
21 of 22 starts as a 2 year old. Check out the single shaft bike
and the broken foot.

Lobell
for Robert Spenser. She is the second dam
of the sport's fastest horse, Cambest. |

Then in the mid 90's, David bred, raised and raced SJ's Photo.
Highlights of SJ's career:

- April 10, 1990 - Born on the Wade Farm.
- 1992 - As a two year old SJ was 13 for 13 - Undefeated
in thirteen starts!!
- 1993 - 1:53.4 record taken at Lexington on Kentucky Futurity
Day.
- 1994 - Raced all winter, winning the SuMacLad and was
still able to win the Hanover Stake and American National.
He finished second to Pine Chip in the Nat Ray.
- 1995 - Won in Finland and Denmark. Won a heat of the Elitlopp.
Won American National, Titan Cup and Nat Ray after returning
home. Then went to Italy in the fall to win all three races
there.
- 1996 - Retired to Kosmos Farm in Pennsylvania.
